I noticed that the lid didn't fit on really well with the poorly designed clasps. I made sure that the lid was on when putting it into the car. When I arrived home and went to take it out of the car, the lid fell off and the cupcake carrier hit the ground and split down the side. Thus, I never even used it. It obviously has a poorly designed lid and clasps as well as poor quality plastic that breaks with a simple fall on the ground. I looked at other reviews online, most of them for the pink version, and all of the reviewers had a similar experience to mine on the first use or before, like me. If your cupcake sinks down into the individual holder it is nearly impossible to get out because there is no hole in the bottom of the cup to push and release the cupcake. #2. The holders are spaced so close together that if your cupcake is "over" the tops of the wrapper you cannot place 2 cupcakes next to each other. #3 If you like a lot of icing on your cupcake, the top leveles will smash down on the icing, making a mess of everything. Like I said, it's really cute, but not really useful for what it was intended for. My mother bought this for me (she found it at Ross, I think, for much cheaper than the list price). I have used it several times with no problem. Be cautious though, as you would with anything that has a handle, and hold it by the handle with one hand, and place the palm of your other hand beneath it. Also, I haven't had any problems with the lid not snapping into place. |
